Alex Crisses spends time, when not working at Insight Venture Partners, in helping assorted charitable organizations in New York City. He provides his expertise in various disciplines, his educational training, and his energies to help these organizations attain their goals of helping others who lack the resources to help themselves fully. One example is the work Alex Crisses does with Mindsmatter.org.

Alex Crisses, through his volunteer work has helped the not-for-profit organization Minds Matter in their fundraising efforts and the establishment of their varied goals. The foundation focuses on programs designed to help high school students from low-income families (and who have excelled in their studies) prepare for entry into a college or university program. Minds Matter accomplishes their goals in this area through three separate programs. These are their Sophomore Program, the Junior Program, and the Senior Program. Alex Crisses, active in assorted charitable causes, dedicated his time to fundraising efforts for the NYC based charity as a past Director of their fundraising committee.

Minds Matter prepares these students for college and university success and Alex Crisses’ past involvement with the foundation is extensive. He helped lead fundraising initiatives and was a member of the organizations’ Executive Committee. Minds Matter has several goals as a not-for-profit, including their goal of further developing partnerships with summer programs and colleges that share their commitment to supporting high-achieving, low-income students.

Alex Crisses uses his knowledge and know how to help him in his volunteer work with not-for-profits. His efforts with Mindsmatter.org are one example. Minds Matter, based in New York, New York, gives their efforts to helping disadvantaged high school students reach their higher-learning goals. They have programs to aid students, with excellent records of achievement, get into college or university. In fact, Minds Matter Test Prep Instructors have the training necessary to guide students through a structured weekly curriculum. The design of the curriculum is to help elevate students PSAT and SAT scores. Alex Crisses is a past Director of fundraising for Minds Matter.

Alex Crisses continues to work to advance the efforts of IVP. He and other members of the Insight group dedicate their efforts to providing quality assistance to innovative entrepreneurs. Along with that, Alex Crisses Insight Venture Partners continues to work to advance the efforts of charitable causes that he believes in. He embraces the charitable institution opportunities available to him so he can aid others in realizing their ambitions.
